COMMERCIAL Buildings and Mount Bingham have now reopened following this weekend’s explosion which claimed the lives of at least five people.
However, Pier Road and South Hill, as well as Fort Regent, are all still closed to both pedestrians and vehicles.

On Sunday evening police chief Robin Smith said that five people were confirmed dead and another four were unaccounted for following the blast at Haut du Mont flats in Pier Road.
Chief Minister Kristina Moore has urged Islanders to consider alternative plans for traveling into town, or work from home if possible.
Please give some thought this morning to your travel plans: are you able to catch the bus, bicycle, walk or WFM? Pier Rd car park will be closed so there will be pressure on parking. Thank you! https://t.co/D8UYtQvjRD

The search for bodies at the scene is continuing in an operation which the authorities have said is likely to last weeks.
