Over 2,000 Islanders to be offered access to British and Irish Lions training sessions

The Lions are coming to Jersey for a pre-tour training camp from 13-24 June, using the facilities of Strive Health Club and the adjacent Jersey Reds pitches.

Two of the Lions’ training sessions are being opened to the public, allowing 1,200 spectators to attend each session at the on Friday 18 and Tuesday 22 June, both from 3.30pm.

Free tickets will be released on Jersey Sport’s website three weeks before the events – at 3.30pm this Friday, 28 May, for the 18 June open training session, and at the same time on 1 June for the session on 22 June.

Tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis and supporters can apply for a maximum of two tickets.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and Islanders will only be permitted to attend one of the two training sessions, to give more people an opportunity to watch the players.
