EasyJet launches new service between Jersey and Manchester

The flights, which are to operate twice weekly all year round, are due to start on 1 July 2019.

Since launching in Jersey over a decade ago on 20 March 2008 from London Luton, the airline has added direct flights to Liverpool, Glasgow, London Southend, Newcastle, London Gatwick and Belfast.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager said: ‘We’re delighted to be adding to our routes at Jersey and also continuing our phase of growth at Manchester. Last year we celebrated ten years of flying from Jersey and over the past decade we have been committed to providing even more choice for our customers travelling to and from Jersey.

‘As the largest channel Island with great beaches and a mix of British and French culture, Jersey is set to appeal to those travelling from Manchester and seeking a summer holiday just a short hop away.

‘We’re also confident that it will be popular with those who will need to regularly use the new route for business. “
