Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado gets good news after surgery

Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado faces a further month on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a groin problem in Germany, the Serie A club have announced.

The Colombia international has been out for several weeks with the injury and it had been suggested he would be missing for an even longer spell.

However, a statement published on Juve’s official website revealed the 29 year-old would only be out of action for 30 days.

It read: “On his return to Italy, the player will start rehabilitation immediately. It is currently seen as a period of about 30 days for the resumption of training.”

Cuadrado will miss the Champions League matches against Tottenham next month as well as the derby clash with Torino in March.
