Man appears in court charged with attempted murder

Magistrates Court.

A 35-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with attempted murder.


Liam Michael Carmody, from Doncaster in South Yorkshire, was arrested following an alleged stabbing in the rear car park of the Hotel Ambassadeur in St Clement on 24 March.


He is also charged with carrying an offensive weapon.


Mr Cormody was remanded in custody until 27 May when he is due to formally enter a plea in the Royal Court.
