Jersey Water tweeted a video of the flow of water as engineers worked to repair areas damaged during bad weather this week.
They were advising Islanders to avoid the area and adhere to signs showing that the footpath is closed.
Elsewhere, there was minor flooding around the Island as Jersey experienced 8mm of rain between 4am and 5am on Thursday morning – more than 10% of the monthly average for February – as well other downpours throughout the day.
