James Harden inspires Houston Rockets to 10th straight win

James Harden scored 28 points as the Houston Rockets beat the Sacramento Kings 100-91 to extend their winning run to 10 games ahead of the All-Star break.

Harden also contributed nine rebounds and nine assists, while Bogdan
Bogdanovic poured in 20 points for the Kings.

Kevin Durant’s 50-point haul was not enough to prevent the Golden State Warriors slipping to a 123-117 defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Damian Lillard notched 44 points as the Trail Blazers ended a seven-game losing run.

Ben Simmons recorded a triple-double as the Philadelphia 76ers completed a brilliant comeback victory over the Miami Heat.

The 76ers had trailed by 23 points at half-time but fought back in the second half to win 104-102, with Simmonds bagging 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Charlotte Hornets also won 104-102, with 22 points from Dwight Howard helping them to victory over the Orlando Magic.

The Washington Wizards overturned a 27-point deficit – the largest of the current NBA season – to beat the New York Knicks 118-113.

The Utah Jazz clinched their 11th straight win, beating the Phoenix Suns 107-97, while Anthony Davis got 42 points as the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Los Angeles Lakers 139-117.

Seven Detroit Pistons players reached double figures as they beat the Atlanta Hawks 104-98, the Indiana Pacers saw off the Brooklyn Nets 108-103 and the Toronto Raptors were 122-98 winners against the Chicago Bulls.
