Jersey Reds run riot on home return

Winger Brendan Owen scored a hat-trick for the Islanders on their first outing at St Peter since February 2020, with Jack Macfarlane, Matti Williams, Max Green, Ollie Dawe, Jack Roberts and Dan Barnes also touching down for a 55-12 success in front of 1,031 sun-kissed, wind-swept supporters.

The Reds wrapped up their first scoring-bonus-point of the 2020/21 Championship campaign before half-time and turned the screw further in the second period to claim their second win from six games and strengthen Nottingham’s roots at the foot of the division.
