The 46-30 victory, seven tries to four, was Guernsey’s first victory since 2008 and topped their first clean sweep of the senior Siam Day matches, with the Fallaize Cup, for the clubs’ second-strings, also changing hands after a last-gasp try gave the Sarnians a 15-13 triumph. Guernsey Ladies maintained their strong grip on the women’s trophy with a 40-0 win, while the veterans match for the Nash Trophy also went the way of the hosts, 17-12.
