JERSEY’S under-11 netballers claimed two third-place finishes at a tournament in Southampton recently, on their first competitive trip away from home.

JERSEY'S under-11 netballers claimed two third-place finishes at a tournament in Southampton recently, on their first competitive trip away from home. The Island's Red squad, who finished as runners-up in the their group, finished third in the Cup competition staged by Weston Park Blades, after losing 9-5 to the hosts in the semi-finals. Jersey Whites, who ended the group stages in fourth, clinched third in the Plate draw – winning their third/fourth play-off after finishing behind Rushmore in their semi-final. The trip was sponsored by Equiom and JPSSA
