Jersey's membership application has been included on the agenda for the governing body's annual meeting in Bratislava on 26 February, when all 55 Uefa nations will vote on the future of Island football.

And, as they attempt to attract the support of at least 28 countries, Springfield chiefs are set to be handed time on stage to rally for last-minute votes.

England FA have already turned their backs on the bid, and it is highly likely the vast majority of those currently in possession of Uefa status will follow suit to avoid their central funding being split further.

JFA president Phil Austin said last month that he is not holding high hopes of success, but wants to open discussions with top Uefa officials to establish what can be achieved in the future.
