The Islanders - looking to win Division 5 for the third time in a row - successfully chased down a target of 153 in their semi-final clash in Benoni, South Africa, to set up a meeting with surprise finalists Vanuatu on Saturday.

Both sides are guaranteed a place in Division 4 next year, with losing semi-finalists Italy and Qatar now set for a scrap to avoid relegation.

Jersey bowler Anthony Kay obliterated Qatar's top order early on, taking four wickets for just ten runs in his ten-over spell. Peter Gough finished on an unbeaten 71 with the bat.
