The Jersey-based Scot, who has won regional and national heavyweight titles in his homeland since switching sports in 2017, is set to take on Czech Petr Frohlich on Saturday at the Copper Box Arena in London.

The bout is on the undercard of the WBA continental welterweight clash between Conor Benn, the son of middleweight legend Nigel, and Samuel Vargas and comes just three weeks after Campbell was left disappointed by the late cancellation of his initial debut plans.

The British Board of Boxing Control refused to sanction the 31-year-old’s fight against Igor Mihajlovic in Belgium, ruling that it would not allow him to make his first professional appearance outside of the UK.

Coverage of his clash with Frohlick – who has won just two of his 33 professional bouts, losing 11 by knockout – starts at 7pm on Sky Sports Action.
