Bulls keep charging on

Despite being drawn at home, with stringent Covid-19 restrictions in place for the foreseeable future preventing Bulls hosting matches at Springfield Stadium or any other venue in Jersey, the fixture will either be played at the club’s adoptive home at Ascot United or switched to Cobham’s home ground, the wonderfully named Leg o’Mutton Field.

The Surrey-based club, formed in 1886, play in the Premier Division of the CCFL, a step higher than the Bulls and should present Gary Freeman’s side with a stiff challenge.

They were in ninth place in the league when the 2019-20 was abandoned due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The match is due to be played on the weekend of 31 October.
