The Jerseyman (29) has made 24 appearances for the Premiership club since his move to the Ricoh Arena from Bedford Blues in the summer of 2018 – having been named Championship player of the season for 2017/18.
In a release made by his current employers, the former Jersey Reds back said: ‘Moving to Wasps was a big step for me in my career to test myself at the top level. It’s a move that’s reaped the rewards.
‘I’ve been able to experience Premiership and European rugby – and now I want to continue to challenge myself on this stage.’
Wasps have won just one of their opening five league matches this season and are well adrift of the top two in their European Challenge Cup group.
Le Bourgeois has started seven games so far this season – twice in the Premiership.
