New signing Scott to start at Scottish
NEW signing Nick Scott will start on the wing for Jersey Reds tomorrow, as they lock horns with London Scottish for the fourth time this season.
The former Bath and London Welsh player joined the Islanders from Sale Sharks at the beginning of the month but has yet to pull on the red shirt because of Jersey's two-week break from Championship action – an extended pause because of London Welsh's expulsion from the division.
Scott's inclusion is one of three changes head coach Harvey Biljon has made to his starting XV for the trip to the Athletic Ground, as Jack Cuthbert makes way for Sam Katz at full-back and Jake Woolmore comes in at loosehead prop. Katz is expected to take responsibility for place-kicking ahead of on-loan stand-off Callum Sheedy.
Lewis Robling, who picked up a nasty head injury at Rotherham Titans in November, also makes a welcome return to the match-day squad.
(1-15): Jake Woolmore, Joe Buckle, Simon Kerrod, Pierce Phillips, Dave McKern, James Freeman (capt), Gary Graham, Nick Haining, Kieran Hardy, Callum Sheedy, George Watkins, Kuki Ma'afu, Jordan Davies, Nick Scott, Sam Katz.
Replacements: Sean McCarthy, Jack Macfarlane, Jake Armstrong, Uili Kolo'ofa'i, Max Argyle, Joel Dudley, Lewis Robling.
