Medal agony for Jersey pair

In line to become the Island's first podium placing since shooter Colin Mallett picked up a fantastic gold and a team bronze with his father, Cliff, in Auckland in 1990, the Caesarean partnership were left disappointed after surrendering a four shot lead at the mid-way point against Northern Ireland to lose 15-14; a result which left them in fourth place.
