A strong wind made it difficult for both teams, but Nottingham made the early running and led 7-3 at half time, soon increasing that to 10-3. However, battling into the wind, and roared on by their loyal support, Jersey deserved to claim the four match points with two converted tries, from replacement scrum-half Nicky Griffiths and full-back Burroughs.
