Vieira struck 18 minutes from the end, despatching his 22-yard free kick into the bottom left-hand corner of St Brelade’s goal for what turned out to be the only goal of the game at St Ouen.
Vieira’s strike came against the run of play and it was St Ouen’s first shot on target in the second half after they had had the better of the chances in the opening period.
