Jets emerge from the fog to clear two more hurdles

Coach Linda Andrew described her pride and emotion after Jets battled hard to beat Crossbow 45-35 then stormed to an unexpectedly easy 60-28 win over Galmington.

Saturday did not get off to the best start as Jets faced uncertainty as to whether they would make their first match after a delay leaving the Island due to fog in the UK.

However, after 90 minutes they were on their way and were able to contest the opening game as Crossbow agreed to postpone the start until they arrived.
