Islanders of all ages are once again invited to take part in the class this weekend to help raise money for, and awareness of, two local charities, Jersey Women’s Refuge and Jersey Action Against Rape.

This year’s event will be quite different to that of 2020, when people headed to the Royal Jersey Showground for the Zumba Glow, which was organised by Soroptimist International Jersey and raised £2,300.

This year the women’s organisation – which works on behalf of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally – hopes that people will sign up online for the event, which takes place on Saturday from 2pm to 3pm on Zoom, in accordance with local social-distancing regulations.

The session will once again be led by local Zumba teacher Claudia Morena, who is donating her time free of charge.

To register for the session online visit tinyurl.com/2m5nzssbor or see the Soroptimist International Jersey pages on Facebook.
