Brexit Events for Businesses

THE States are holding a series of events to engage businesses ahead of the Brexit deadline. ‘Ready for Brexit’ starts Monday 14 January, and will include the publication of a readiness toolkit for businesses, workshops for traders, and a live demonstration of the Jersey-EU Settlement Scheme application process to show EU nationals living locally how they will be able to register.


A full schedule of events will be released, which will culminate with the External Relations Minister, Senator Ian Gorst, appearing before the Brexit Scrutiny Panel.

Senator Gorst said: ‘We are continuing to prepare on the basis of a “no deal”, as we have done since the UK Referendum in 2016.’
