Verienne, who is also director of Vantage Marketing, has been developing the strategy for the HR firm since the acquisition, which has seen the original two staff grow to seven. That includes the recent appointment in Jersey of Ashley Le Feuvre, who has extensive experience in HR management, who will be joined by Wendy McHugh in Guernsey. Within the recruitment division, the appointments of Rebecca Reddy and Gina Broadhead have also bolstered the team under Ward Jenner. Bob Hassell remains an adviser to Vantage HBA.
Chief executive Richard Packman said that Verienne Belcher’s analytical and marketing skills had been invaluable in planning the expansion of the company, including extending the reach of Hassell
Blampied’s annual remuneration survey.
Verienne said that the survey was evolving ‘in order to remain wholly relevant in an ever-changing market place’.
‘The team has spent time seeking and collating feedback from existing participants to ensure that the survey continues to fulfil their needs,’ she said.
‘The survey base has been extended, with more companies being encouraged to participate and the firm is also looking to incorporate additional sectors of the islands’ business communities, particularly in the Isle of Man.
‘We are now looking to incorporate other sectors to ensure that the outputs are wholly representative of the islands’ business community. Looking further ahead, I am keen to investigate launching the
survey in other offshore jurisdictions which would benefit from this type of service.’
