Finance ramps up campaign to silence international critics

The body responsible for promoting the Island’s premier industry, Jersey Finance, has put the protection of Jersey’s reputation at the top of the agenda for 2013 and beyond.

The body has been given an extra £5 million of taxpayers’ money to be used for a variety of purposes and changing perceptions overseas of what the Island does is among the objectives.

Chief executive Geoff Cook told an audience of over 200 at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel that advancing Jersey’s reputation would be a key strategic aim in 2013.
