The youngsters have been offered placements with 18 firms as part of the Life in Finance initiative organised by Jersey Finance in partnership with Careers Jersey.
Placement
The school age youngsters will get the opportunity to undertake a work placement for one or two weeks in July next year with one of the participating firms.
Life in Finance takes students through the life-cycle of a typical working career. It is designed to educate the students about what a career in the finance industry involves and provides an understanding of the industry itself.
The young people found out about the scheme at a ‘meet and greet’ session held recently at the Hotel de France.
