POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses to the early-hours taking of a car in the north-east of the Island.
The black Mini, registration J6024, was taken at around 5.30am on Thursday from a location close to Ransoms Garden Centre in St Martin.
Officers have appealed to anyone who saw a a dark Mercedes-Benz A Class vehicle in the area at the time of the incident, or earlier when the Mercedes was believed to have been nearby at around 2.20am.
The person suspected of taking the missing Mini is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured puffer jacket and light-coloured jogging bottoms.
