RNLI called to help dismasted sailing dinghy

The RNLI was called to assist a sailing dinghy on Saturday morning (RNLI)

A SAILING dinghy dismasted this morning near the Demie des Pas lighthouse and was towed back to St Helier.

The RNLI was called at 9.07am.

Their inshore lifeboat, The Spirit of St Helier, was sent to assist the sailing dinghy.

None of the three crew members on board the dinghy were injured.

The RNLI said conditions were relatively calm and that after assessing that everyone on board was safe, the dinghy was towed back to St Helier.
