ANDIUM wants permission to add 12 more homes to Pomme d’Or Farm estate.
The social-housing provider has put forward a planning application to demolish old drying rooms at the First Tower estate and construct ten one-bed apartments and two two-bed apartments, each with their own balcony or terrace.
The new development – which has been designed by Godel Architects – will also feature bike and bin stores, as well as landscaping.
An Andium spokesperson said: ‘Reviewing existing sites to identify whether there are opportunities to introduce more homes is an important aspect of our asset strategy.
‘Small developments such as the one proposed and more significant developments of existing sites such as the Edinburgh House (147 new homes on the former La Collette Flats site) development in Green Street, play an important part in achieving our target of delivering 3,000 new homes by 2030.’
The application remains before Planning and will be decided at a later date.
