POLICE have said that it is ‘very fortunate’ no one was hurt after rocks were thrown down onto cars from the Fort Regent ramparts on Friday night.
One motorist reported having stones thrown at their vehicle as they were driving along Pier Road near the Sea Cadet Garage.
Police were called at around 10.35pm on Friday following a report of youths throwing rock.
Two vehicles were damaged in the incident.
