Information sought after staff allegedly threatened with what appeared to be a crowbar

A MAN allegedly pulled what appeared to be crowbar out of his trousers and threatened the staff of a St Helier fast food outlet with it last Saturday [6 March], the States police have said.

The incident reportedly occurred at Turkish Delight on Mulcaster Street between 7.40pm and 8.05pm when a man wearing all black and a hooded top allegedly began shouting at workers. He has been described as between 40 to 50 years old, around 5"6 in height and bald.

A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remained in police custody yesterday.
