Red tide warning issued

FLOODING along Jersey's south coast is expected on Sunday evening with wind and high tides likely to cause large waves to come over sea walls.

The Jersey Met Office has issued a red tide warning – the most severe level.

And they have warned that some roads may have to be closed due to the 11.7 metre tide. High tide is at 6.26pm with the majority of water expected to come over the walls within one hour either side of high tide.
