New restrictions on arrivals from France
FRANCE is being moved from green to amber on Jersey's Covid countries risk assessment, meaning anyone arriving from the country will need to isolate for around a week.
From midnight on Sunday, passengers arriving from France will be required to undertake two PCR tests on day zero and day five and isolate until they receive a negative result from their second test.
The move follows an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in France.
Passengers arriving from a red country are required to be tested on arrival and must self-isolate for 14 days, while those arriving from green countries have a test on arrival and are advised to limit social contact until they have a negative result but are not required to isolate completely.
