The seven-storey block, known as IFC 2, will be the tallest of the buildings to be built on the site.
Two offices – IFC 1 and IFC 5 – have already been built and plans have been approved for IFC 6. The development will include a basement car park, as well as food and retail areas.
One of the main objectors to the proposal, the chairman of the Jersey Action Group, John Baker, raised concerns over the economic validity of the development following the Covid-19 outbreak, and whether there would be a drop in demand for office space as more people worked from home.
