Police hunt hit-and-run driver after head-on collision

A gold Nissan Micra, driven by a 55-year-old man, suffered ‘a lot of damage’ on Mont Fallu after colliding with a small black hatchback travelling in the opposite direction at about 3.35pm.

The States police say the hatchback, believed to be a Ford Fiesta driven by a man, had been travelling ‘at speed’ and failed to stop after the crash. The vehicle, which lost a wing mirror, is yet to be located.

No-one was injured.
