Pets Paradise 'theft': Woman is arrested after turning up at police headquarters with two missing Guinea pigs

TWO Guinea pigs that were allegedly stolen during a night-time break-in at Pets Paradise have been returned to the shop.

The animals – one black and white and the other white with red eyes – were taken between 2.45am and 3.45am on Monday.

A number of pet harnesses were later recovered from the children's play area at the People's Park.

In an update on Thursday afternoon, the States police said that a 26 year old woman turned up at the States police headquarters with the Guinea pigs. She was arrested and remains in custody.
