Woman indecently assaulted in St Helier bar

A MAN allegedly indecently assaulted a woman in her mid-twenties at a St Helier nightclub on Saturday night.


The States police have now issued an appeal for information in relation to the incident which is understood to have taken place at St James’ Wine Bar as the pair passed each other in the hallway between 11.45pm and 12.30am.

According to an appeal, the man is described as having a tanned complexion, is about 6ft tall and in his twenties or thirties, skinny, and having ‘quite stumpy and yellow’ teeth.

He was also unshaven, had short to medium-length dark hair and was wearing a black hood with a white padded jacket to his waist which was zipped.

The suspect was also wearing dark blue jeans.

Anyone who may have seen the man in the nightclub, witnessed the assault or has any information is asked to contact the States police on 612612 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
