Twisters, rainbows... and much warmer weather by the weekend
HEAVY showers moving across the Channel Islands have produced some dramatic sights today.
A funnel cloud – a cloud which is similar to a tornado or waterspout but does not touch the ground – was spotted over the south coast.
And a large rainbow was seen over St Helier as another shower moved through.
The unsettled weather is expected to last for the next few days before settled – and much warmer – conditions become established later in the week.
Jersey Met says temperatures could rise to 18°C by the weekend.
