Three girls subjected two teens to 'prolonged' bus station assault

A POLICE investigation is under way after three teenage girls subjected two others to a 'prolonged' attack at Liberation Station.

One of the victims was pulled to the ground by her hair and repeatedly punched and kicked by two of the girls, both of whom had blonde hair.

The second victim intervened and was physically assaulted by all three suspects.

The States police said: 'This was a prolonged attack on the two girls with the suspects shouting and making verbal threats.'

The suspects are described as white and of slim build. Two had long, dyed blonde hair and one had dark brown hair in a ponytail.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at the 'K' stand at the bus station at about 4.15pm on Saturday, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
