News | Published:

A CRUISE ship carrying 631 passengers and crew anchored just outside St Aubin's Bay on Tuesday.

The 592ft-long Pacific Princess, was visiting the Island for the second time after first coming in August. It was due to be the second-to-last cruise ship this season.

A spokesman for Ports of Jersey said: 'We were delighted to welcome back Pacific Princess to Jersey waters on Tuesday.

'Many passengers disembarked yesterday morning and took advantage of the fine weather conditions by taking a number of pre-booked excursions as well as those passengers who opted to go out independently and explore what the Island sand has to offer.

'This was the penultimate visit of our 2019 cruising programme, with the final cruise visit expected on Sunday 29 September with a visit by MS Star Breeze.'
