RNLI called to Les Écréhous after casualty suffers suspected 'seizure'
RNLI lifeboat crews were called to Les Écréhous on Sunday after someone suffered a suspected seizure.
The St Catherine's lifeboat arrived at the reef about ten minutes after launching in the afternoon.
Paramedics met the casualty on the slip at St Catherine's Breakwater and treated them on scene. They were soon discharged and not taken to hospital.
In a statement, the RNLI said: 'A tour boat skipper had called Jersey Coastguard to report a person suffering from a seizure. The crew arrived on scene approximately ten minutes after launching and two casualty care trained crew members went ashore to assess the casualty. Once it was determined the casualty was stable, they were placed onboard the lifeboat and taken to St Catherine’s slipway to a waiting ambulance.'
