Police seek witnesses to Snow Hill toilet flasher

News | Published:

AN alleged flasher walked into Snow Hill toilets twice in less than a week and exposed himself to men using the facilities, the States police say.

Officers say the incidents took place on Thursday 4 July at about 11am and on Tuesday at about 11.45 am inside the men's toilets in St Helier.

A 30-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and gross outrage of public decency.

A force spokeswoman said in a statement: 'A man walked into the toilets and exposed himself to others using the facilities. He removed his clothes and made comments in relation to engaging in sexual acts. During the incident on 4 July, he was chased away by another man. They both ran towards Queen Street and through the precinct towards the Royal Square.'

The suspect is described as about 5ft 9in tall, stocky build, with short dark hair and he was wearing dark blue jeans, a white t-shirt and black trainers.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the police on 612612 or call Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
