Workers from the Growth, Housing and Environment Department will be draining the pool by opening a sluice gate tomorrow. The gate is due to be closed again on Friday when high tide will be at 11.39am.
The work is necessary to allow the lower levels of the pool to be power washed and for remedial work to be carried out on the central island.
According to Jersey Met, air temperatures could rise up to 21°C this weekend. However, the sea is expected to remain at around 10°C.
