Jersey Met warn of possible coastal flooding on Wednesday

The orange warning – the second-highest level of alert – states: ‘Waves breaking over sea walls are expected to cause problems with water and debris on roads along Jersey’s south coast during Wednesday’s high tides.

‘Some flooding may occur. High tides are at 6.54am and 7.24pm with heights of 11.7 metres.’

Meanwhile, forecasters are predicting a blast of spring-like weather, with temperatures rising to 16°C by Friday. The fine conditions are expected to last throughout the weekend.
