The Jersey Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property in Hilary Street on Friday night after neighbours raised the alarm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the fourth-floor flat and found the 64-year-old unconscious inside.
She was taken to hospital, where she is in a stable condition. The property was extensively damaged by the blaze.
