Boy and girl racially abused while walking to school

The pair, who are aged in their early teens, were walking along Vauxhall Street when a man hurled abuse at them. A woman walking in the area at the time was also subject to racist comments.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, with dreadlocks and he was wearing a hi-vis vest. He was with two other men, one of whom had a dog.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened between 7.45 am and 8 am on Tuesday 11 December, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
