Antonio Romano Capuano (52) is accused of threatening to strike the woman with a fish he was carrying in a plastic bag at Rouge Bouillon School.
During the alleged incident at around 8.45 am on Tuesday 18 September, Mr Capuano also allegedly made threats to ‘smash someone’s head into a door’, the court heard.
He was later arrested and charged with using threatening or abusive words.
The defendant, of Midvale Road, appeared in court on two consecutive days last week, and was remanded in custody following the first hearing on Wednesday.
When he was refused bail during a hearing the following day, he allegedly hurled insults at Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu and raised his fists towards police officers in the dock.
He was then charged with contempt of court.
In total, Mr Capuano is facing seven charges for offences allegedly committed within the space of nine days. They include assault, malicious damage and assaulting a police officer.
