Firefighters tackle blaze in St Helier

FIREFIGHTERS were called to what is believed to have been a fire in a bin store on Thursday evening.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus as they tackled the flames

Crews in two fire engines attended the incident on Marett Road, Havre des Pas, at around 5.50 pm.

The road was closed while firefighters, who were wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the flames. Two police officers also attended the scene and set up a cordon.
