Officers from the States police have now said they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 37-year-old Zsuzanna Besenyei, who has not been heard from since Sunday, when she sent a text message.
The force is now appealing for information about the whereabouts of Ms Besenyei and is asking anyone who may have seen her blue Ford Fiesta Ghia – registration J48188 – to come forward.
In a statement, a spokesman for the police said: ‘At 11.45 am on Monday Zsuzanna’s car was recovered on the beach around 500 m off La Haule slip.
‘Anyone who may have seen the blue Ford Fiesta Ghia reg number J48188 is asked to come forward.
‘Zsuzanna is described as having long brown hair, although sometimes liked to wear wigs, being around 5ft 3in and of medium build.’
Anyone who has had contact with Ms Besenyei during last week is asked to call the force on 612612 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
