Body of missing dog is found

Dozens of people helped with the search for seven-year-old labradoodle Polar Bear. A drone was even used to scour the north coast and the States police issued an appeal on social media.

The dog’s body was found over the weekend on the cliff path near Plémont.

A post of the Jersey Dog Forum Facebook page stated: ‘We have received the very sad news that Polar Bear’s body was found on the cliff path between Plémont and Gronez, just a few minutes away from the Plémont end.

‘Our thoughts are with Polar Bear’s family. RIP Polar Bear.

‘Thank you to all those who have helped with the search in one way or another and in particular Esta Williams who has been helping the family.’
