Cars turning onto the road from David Place will be able to drive only as far as the junction with Apsley Road.
Vehicles will no longer be able to access the paved corner outside the Gas Place Café.
The changes, which were agreed at a St Helier Roads Committee meeting yesterday, were recommended in a report commissioned following the death of three-year-old Clinton, who was hit by a van on nearby Tunnell Street.
